Two very different roofs, one city
In Ordsall and Pendleton the stock is Victorian terrace with original Welsh slate and lead valleys. Higher Broughton and Kersal in M7 include The Cliff conservation area, designated in 1976, where Victorian villas and cobbled streets mean natural slate and traditional detailing rather than the cheapest tile. Access is the other variable here.
